Darlington have made their second signing inside 24 hours with defender Danny Hone arriving at The Northern Echo Arena.
A day after striker Liam Hatch rejoined the club, 20-year-old Hone has become Quakers' ninth signing of the summer.
Hone, who scored against Darlington in a 1-1 draw in February, follows Kelvin Jack, Sam Russell, Dominik Werling, Jamie Chandler, Chris Senior, Tommy Wright, Michael Brough and Hatch to join Darlington.
The centre-back is the third to join since Mark Cooper was appointed manager a fortnight ago - Brough was the fist - and is likely to feature against Sunderland on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Darlington say their new shirts are expected to be available before the new season.
Quakers are expecting both home and away kits to be in store by the time of the opening game at The Northern Echo versus Newport County on August 14.
