Gaetano Giallanza has gone back to his native Switzerland to receive treatment for his nagging knee injury.

Giallanza's going home to try and solve his knee problems.
The 32-year-old striker scored from the penalty spot against Tranmere in Dave Penney's first game in charge, but has failed to start a League Two match since 29th September.

Penney has spoken about Giallanza, saying "It is something he has been carrying for a few weeks.

"I think he had problems when he was at Norwich with a cruciate injury and was out of the game for near enough three years.

"He has been trying to play on these past few weeks, probably trying to impress the new manager.

"He is going to see the specialist who knows his knee best. He will know the history of his injury and it's best if people look at him who have got him fit before."
