Kasper Schmiecel turned his ankle in training but was able to continue the full session, he will be assessed tomorrow but at this stage he is not considered a doubt for tomorrow evening verus Grimsby Town.

Staying on the goalkeeper woe Bert Bossu has his cast removed from his foot on Thursday.

He will then have an air cast put in place to help with the compression of the foot structure, this will be kept on for around five weeks.

Sammy Russell is now back in full training, he should be available for selection for the home game with

Mansfield Town 28^th January.

Joey Hutchinson goes into Hospital for his operation next Wednesday we wish him a speedy recovery.

David Duke has had his injury diagnosed as a double hernia, as a result he too must under go the surgeons knife and will attend a Manchester Hospital later this week. Dukes’y will be out for around a month.

Brian Close is going to see a specialist later this week after he goes to have a scan on his ankle that he damaged in the home win over Barnet. It is understood that he may have damaged cartilage but it is not thought to be serious, he will probably need further corrective surgery in the summer.

Neil Wainwright will not be considered for tomorrows game, the groin injury he picked up at Notts County is not fully healed and Casper will be available for selection for the clash at The Kassam Stadium with Oxford United

Most of the rest of the squad are fully fit and are pressing for selection tomorrow.
